L G Barcus & Sons, Inc. is a 4th generation family-owned company that started in the construction business in 1920. This was followed by a family partnership in 1941, and finally incorporation in 1950.
L G Barcus & Sons has been in the construction industry for over 60 years, providing services to both public and private entities in 38 states. These services consist of Bridge Construction, Sheeting and Shoring, Augered Cast-in-Place Piles, Retaining Walls, Concrete Structures, Railroad Construction, Railroad Services, Cofferdams, and Deep Foundations (driven piles and AugerPile foundations). In addition, L G Barcus and Sons has vast railroad construction experience. We have worked for most major carriers in recent years. Our crews are familiar with working under traffic and next to live tracks. We're proud to say that our Railroad Division hasn't had a lost time accident since 1995.
We perform complex projects in the heavy highway and industrial construction markets throughout the Central United States.
